APPA Uttar Pradesh celebrated World Rabies Day with a focus on raising awareness about rabies prevention and control. Veterinarians across Lucknow participated by offering free anti-rabies vaccinations for pets and stray dogs. The initiative aimed to curb the spread of rabies and protect both animals and humans from the deadly virus. The event was widely appreciated as the collective effort needed to achieve a rabies-free world.
A lively dog show was celebrated by APPA UP, attracting dog enthusiasts from all over Lucknow and around. Dr. Amber Mishra, a renowned veterinarian from Raebareli, was invited to serve as the judge for the event. Various breeds of dogs participated, showcasing their skills, obedience, and unique traits. The competition featured categories such as agility, Best in Show. Winners received trophies and certificates.
